The Recall Committee has now collected more than 9,000 in-District signatures in less than 7 weeks, but we need your help to reach the required 10,739 signatures by August 1st.
This month marks one year since the Recall Committee started the recall process of District 3 Councilmember Kshama Sawant.
We’ve been working tirelessly on behalf of District 3, to meet the August 1st deadline to be on the November 2021 general election ballot, giving all voters of District 3 an opportunity to cast their vote to recall Sawant.
Since last September, Sawant has purposely disenfranchised District 3 voters, by using the very court system she hates, by filing unnecessary hearings and appeals as stall tactics, costing the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars, causing delays in gathering signatures, so she can gain a political advantage to stay in office longer.
Sawant is to blame should the Recall Committee be unable to make the general election this year and it will cost the taxpayers even more money to hold a special election. To reach 10,739 signatures needed by August 1st, we need your help gathering an additional 1,739 signatures.
We need your help gathering signatures and donating $25, $50, $100 today. Anything you do, will help our field team, who have been on the ground combating Sawant’s stall tactics, to make sure Sawant’s recall is on the November ballot.
We must join in unison if we are going to Recall Sawant and fight back against her assault on the democratic process. Thank you for your support.
